UPDATE to TA Rank CE Policy

For individuals who hold a TA rank, CE requirements may be met by demonstrating completion of a minimum of 4 modules toward the next rank (TA 2 for TA 1 rank holders or Teacher 1 for TA 2 rank holders). Evidence of continued progress may be presented by submitting a letter on your organization’s letterhead (if applicable) from the supervisor/mentor using the form linked here.

REMINDER:  As announced when the new Teaching Assistant 1 and 2 ranks were released one year ago (January, 2024), the CABAS® Teaching Assistant Rank was officially retired on December 31, 2024.  We will continue to accept the original TA rank through the next rank submission cycle, which will end on February 28, 2025.  After that, only the CABAS® TA 1 and TA 2 ranks will be accepted.
